THe new avatar theme is Super Bowl quarterbacks.  Winner, loser . . . doesn't matter.  If he started a Super Bowl, he's eligible.  How you choose your av is up to you - coolest, best-looking, goofiest, most-loved or most-hated . . . doesn't matter.

I can't wait to see who you guys choose!

I started to go with Kenny the Snake, but I didn't want to steal Sky's avatar and make him cry, so I went this way . . .

As a kid, my favorite team was the Bengals.  Don't ask me why; they were horrible and I lived 1200 miles from Cincinnati.  But I liked 'em, and quarterback Ken Anderson was my favorite player.  My only consolation was that my Dad's favorite team, the 49ers, were even worse and were even farther away!

Then, the unthinkable happened; somehow, these two stinkers got good!  And, even more improbably, they met in Super Bowl XVI, where my Dad's 49ers prevailed.

One of my favorite QB's growing up.

Joe Montana

Partially due to the fact that the Packers were in the midst of their "dark age".  Not ready to put Favre up there, and Rodgers is just too obvious.

I went with Chiefs QB Len Dawson.  He lead the Chiefs to the very 1st Superbowl and won Superbowl IV.  A true Hall of Famer.

-Congrats, Randy! I'm in!

-Had to go with my own obvious personal choice, Tom Brady.

-Since coming out of nowhere to lead the Pats to their first title in 2002, he's led the Pats to 11 division titles, 5 Conference titles, and 3 Super Bowl championships.

-His stat line with 11:30 left in the game, and being down 10 points to the best defense in the league-

13 of 15, 121 yards, 2 touchdowns, 0 interceptions, 139.9 rating

-Doesn't get much better than that, folks.

DF, I came <this close> to making the theme TOM BRADY, in honor of his phenomenal career and his amazing performance Sunday, but I thought that was a little too restricting, so I opened it up to all Super Bowl quarterbacks.

KB took Bart before I got to so...............Although many people frown upon Brett, he was a great QB and he will always be a top five in my book.

I'm sporting both him and Aaron because the thread says Quarterbacks  !      grin1

Thanks Randy..I have a QB in mind but can't change avatars until I get home.
If I could start my life all over again, I would be a professional football player, and you damn well better believe I would be a Pittsburgh Steeler.

LOL............that is hilarious Coach...........I'm betting Terry Bradshaw ???

In the 70's the Steelers always had to get by the Oilers to win the Super Bowl.
