Let's all go on a vacation! Show your favorite spot to vacation or somewhere you hope to go some day.
Mine is the Caribbean. Love Jamaica but any island there would be awesome!      grin1

My dream vacation has always been and will always be Ireland.

For as long as I remember that's where I've wanted to go.

Secluded Island...off the grid....no wife....no kids....... grin1

Went out last night and got really wasted.
I woke up in the middle of the night next to some chick who was snoring and farting, so I knew I made it home OK.

-My favorite vacations weren't exotic or fancy, but were spent with some cousins of mine at a Cape Cod house in Waltham, Massachusetts (a suburb of Boston). My cousin Elizabeth was my mom's first cousin & they were close- such a sweet lady she was.  She lived there with her husband and two boys- one of whom was my own age and we were great buddies as well. Between the time I was 11 and 16, I stayed there about 8 times and was always treated to the best of hospitality.  After I was 16, I always hoped to make it back there, but unfortunately never did... :(

-Now, My cousin's husband died about 12 years ago, the cousin my age is living in Seattle, and my younger cousin is in Ohio.  My cousin Elizabeth herself passed away from complications of Pakinson's about two years ago, and the house was sold. I never did get back there, but I sure have lots of great memories connected with 91 Canterbury Road, Waltham, Massachusetts- truly a home away  from home if ever there was one... :)

Emerald Pool on the island of Dominica

I was actually able to dive through that waterfall into the pool below.  Great way to cool off from a hike through the tropical jungle to get there.

Great shot of Waterton Lakes Arasmis.......I have camped there several times in the bay to the right of the Hotel where the tree line is and camped right on the beach......Beautiful spot and we had lunch in the Prince of Wales .........and looked South to the USA (Montana).......

My Avi is of Port Townsend Washington State.......the Lighthouse has been closed for years but it is a National park and is very close to the Base where they filmed an Officer and a Gentleman.....really nice little town and my girlfriend and I  spend a week traveling around the Olympic Peninsula......Spectacular.

Nice travels you've been on LL.

I stayed at the Prince Hotel back after senior year of H.S. with my GF back then.  Took the boat trip to the southern part of the Lake (U.S. territory) and did an 8 hour hike to the Glaciers and back.  It was awesome.  I need to get back there sometime.  Love how the Mountains come right out of the lake.

Seen this from a cruise ship,  spectacular view of peaks coming out of the ocean.

Sorry, thought I put it on there.  St. Lucia

There are a few other small islands when you cruise past St. Lucia that are like mountains coming out of the ocean.
Very cool.

I haven't left the Northwest since 1979. (that includes Washington, Oregon and Idaho)

About the only place I'd really love to visit (vacation) is my birth home of Alabama where we lived for 7 years (1960 - 1967) to check out the old neighborhood, the hospital I was born in and much more. And hey maybe even go visit Sky...
