Upon her exit, H-P gave Fiorina what was widely considered a “golden parachute” worth about $40 million.

When she was finally ousted, the board insisted that it wasn’t because of corporate results, but because of her “management style.” Fiorina, who was often described as imperious and distant, took a lot of criticism for giving herself big bonuses even while laying people off, and for hitting the speaking circuit even while the company was in a tailspin.

That presents perhaps Fiorina’s greatest challenge, since it’s her record as a manager that she is now citing as a reason to elect her president. An even greater challenge? The fact that so many lists of history’s “worst CEOs” include her name.

It is from Time so I would research this more....   http://time.com/3845767/carly-fiorina-hp/

I want a Bernie Sanders vs Rand Paul ballot.

I think that's the only way I won't vote third party.  That would be a tossup for me.

then register as a democrat and vote against her in the primaries.
As a conservative, could you bring yourself to vote for Bernie Sanders?

#1  A CEO does not give themselves bonuses. The Board does that.

#2 She rattled some cages and that is why she was canned.

I can't see myself voting for someone that smart who denies basic science.  It seems uncouth.

gimme Ron over Rand. I just don't care for Rand's conservative views on a few things. I wish he was an all out Libertarian like his pop. Small federal gov't. Slash spending. Keep them out of your daily lives. More state rights. Cut back on foreign aid. Free-market environmentalism. Delete marriage on the federal level leaving it up to citizens and their church regardless of their stance. ween ourselves off of Medicare allowing a free-market alternative, as my generation will never reap the benefits of Medicare and Social Security anyway. Pro stem cell research. Anti war on drugs. Personally, he hates abortion, but he does not believe it is a federal concern.  More privatization of business, with less government involvement, strictly giving them an outline instead of making business jump through needless hoops.

I just want someone who has done something real. It's what we need, not a career politician.

Besides, even though I think it is more of a communication gap, how much real influence does the POTUS have on the domain of evolution?

It's sad, that those who are elected aren't the ones best for the job, but rather the best at getting elected.

Stand for something, not stand against it

None of the candidates stand for anything I want to vote for. But all of them but one are not named Hilary. grin1

Well, considering that our presidents have gradually been getting worse and worse, the presidency does nothing for furthering the theory of evolution. grin1

That's why I favor a Despotism under me to a representative republic.
