River Rat’s 2010 NASCAR Team Manager

Welcome to the 2010 version of NASCAR Team Manager.  This is a contest where you the NGS user can pick your racing team for the 2010 racing season.  In this contest you will choose your team then sit back and see how you do against your friends.  No need to be back each week for new picks.

Rules

1.)   From the list below, all drivers have a point value assigned to them.  You will make a team of five (5) drivers using NO MORE than 15 points.  (example 6,5,2,1,1 or 5,4,3,2,1 or what ever combination you choose)
2.)   Entries will be closed at the drop of the green flag at the Daytona 500 on February 14, 2010.  All teams must be posted on this thread.
3.)   Each race, the Sprint Cup Series points your driver earns will be put into a spread sheet and averaged across your 5 drivers.  The average will be your score for the race.  (Example pick #1=195, pick #2=130, Pick #3=110, Pick #4=62, Pick #5=34—total is 531 Points---divide by 5 = 106.2 points earned for your team)  The spreadsheet I use is Excel, if you want a copy PM me an e-mail if you would like it sent to you.
4.)   All picks will be final for the first part of the racing season, no trades, substitutions, etc.
5.)   NEW RULE --- There will be one trade window.  This will be between the drop of the checkered flag at Dover on May 16th until the green flag at the Coke 600 at Charlotte on May 30th.  You may trade one driver, and one driver only.  The driver you “pick up” MUST be at least one point value LESS than the driver you are dropping.  (Example you have a driver that lost his ride and was a 3 point driver from the list below, he must be replaced with a 1 or 2 point value driver)  All drops will need to be posted on this thread and approved by the Commissioner (me).  I will post whether it is a valid substitution.
6.)   Weekly results and standings will be posted on the results thread found in this section.

Drivers --- The list and point values of the below drivers was decided by the final 2009 driver ratings found on NASCAR.com.  Please note: Not all drivers on this list have full time rides for the 2010 season, it will be up to you to do your homework.

I asked DL to post this as when I did it looked like crap.  He wants to do some edits to it later.

Pats---Your in!  Wait until the drivers listings are a bit more clear on the column they belong in, then submit a team on this thread....simple as that, and good luck.

Also to everyone.....when you list your drivers, please also include that drivers point value beside their name for all to see.  And again, make sure your total points for your 5 man team is 15 or less.
