A lot of copy and paste in Section's world recently  haha1
I saved a copy on my pc to give me easy access. It's getting to be a standard response to your response. Maybe I can make it appear in my signature line.
The downside of being better than everyone else is that people tend to assume you're pretentious.

if there aren't too many letters/numbers in it, shouldn't be a problem.

How could anyone even think of moving out of this beautiful state to earthquakes,

Shoveling snow from Nov to March in sub zero temps or putting up with the ground shaking once in a while on a nice sunny day. No brainer !!!!

I like Memphis but crime is up there in places.

If you want West Tn I'd check out Jackson.  It's not a huge place like Memphis or Nashville and I'm thinking the job market is decent. It's only about an hour and a half from Memphis.

If you are looking into Middle Tn, check out places like Franklin and Mt Juliet. I'm honestly not super familiar with them, but if I'm remembering right they are some of the quickest growing places in Tn.

As for East Tn, I have no clue, but I might could find out if you really wanted to know.

I do have to say I'm partial to Tn but then I've lived here all my life.

We stayed in Crossville for a week about 10 years ago, didn't seem like there was much around there but it was very nice.  The Knoxville area seemed nice, although I would probably want to live outside of the city.

Exactly!  And you forgot about not having to mow lawn either and no fresh garden veggies and wonder if your family will be covered in mud or worse yet you have to get out before a wild fire burns your house down.      thumb1

Johnson City, TN.  In the mountains of East TN, near Bristol plenty of outdoor, job market decent lots of outdoor activities and about 2 hours from Knoxville if you have to go to a big city.

You get your 4 season but the snow isn't too heavy and you are within a stones throw of NC, Virginia, Kentucky and Georgia and South Carolina.

I've never lived there, but I spent a couple months on the outskirts of Houston for work....lot of nice areas around there.  I hear Wichita Falls is a good place to live too, but starting to get expensive depending on what part you're in if you want any kind of land w/ it.

I like Johnson City. I spent a month at ETSU during the summer when I was in HS.

If you are into history, there are several places nearby you can visit as well.

Hmmm...  Interesting.  Thanks for all the info so far.

If anyone else has some options, let me know.

Next week I travel to San Antonio, TX for vacation.

Been there, done that. Hot, humid, and flat. That's about it.
