I've always been an above level reader and one time it was a bad thing.

I was sick with the flu when I was a kid. So my mom went to the library to get me some books. The librarian helped her pick out some books for me.

She came back home with books about ghosts. If I think about it, it still freaks me out to this day. For over a year when it was dark if the shades were up on our large window that looked toward the woods, I'd get down on my knees and crawl past it so if there was a ghost in the woods it couldn't see me. (strange thinking I know).

but yeah because of that I hate ghost stories.  And I never let those 2 pick books for me again.

If you trust your rebel heart, ride it into battle
Don't be afraid, take the road less traveled
Wear out your boots and kick up the gravel
Don't be afraid, take the road less traveled on

Helloooo!

I may have not been able to be there for the draft but my Pretenders look pretty dayum strong. I can work with this lineup. I could use a little better starting pitching but other than that I'm ready to rock&roll. Since I have surgery scheduled for the 1st week of the season, cousin Swing Bob will fill in as manager for that time.

Go Cubs!
