To me Master of Puppets was the Metallica on the verge of becoming the greatest band of all time. If Burton had lived, I can only imagine how awesome the tunes would be. Here's one example of a badass Metallica song

Understand, Brother.  Some music heals and some opens wounds.

Metallica does both for me I guess.

This just in:

A local D-III college from my home area in Wisconsin just finished a unique trifecta.  They just won the D-III Baseball National Championship to add to the D-III Football and men's basketball national championships already won this year  Go Warhawks

Nah. Spurs will take it in 5 or 6. No need in seeing Durant cry, I like the guy.

Things have changed since the 1800's Greg.

They've changed since the 1980s, too.  And the 90s.  Even the 00s.

But noise is noise since the beginning of time.

And metal is mostly just noise.

fugg all music past '60s.

There was some stuff in the early 70s that worked, but after that it mostly turned into bubble gum or suicide.

Depressing, either way.

There was some good stuff in the 70's...
Most of the 80's could disappear and no one would miss anything...
Some good stuff, again, in the early 90's...

Now, anything good is an exception, it seems.

Technology is the devil!

Hey, whatever happened to waitin' your turn.
Doing it all by hand,
'Cause when everything is handed to you,
It's only worth as much as the time put in.
It all just seemed so good the way we had it,
Back before everything became automatic.
