Bob - I kinda want to put all those posts of yours last night into a couple of paragraphs, just because it would be even funnier, but I'm too lazy.

Sorry.  Bad timing on the site.

Hope to never have to go through all that again.

In truth, even if the site had been up, I would have worried just as much.

Of course, not as relieved as you, but, gawd, I was so relieved when I saw it had weakened considerably before it got to you.

Yeah me too.  It wasn't supposed to be bad then it was supposed to possibly be really bad then not bad again.

Very stressful though I didn't let it get to me.  I was worried during the supposed to be really bad part.  Actually practiced getting in the closet lol.

But some people were absolutely distraught.  Don't blame them.

Yeah, it was during that time they thought it be really bad for Tampa that I started worrying so much.  Then I realized, worrying wasn't gonna change a damn thing, and I tried to let it go.

My golfing partner still has no power.

From what I understand, people all over the state are without power.
I have, however, seem some pretty amazing pictures of trucks from utility companies from all over the country on their way to, or already in, Florida.  Some even came down from Canada!

Yes!  It's crazy!  What was it?  Like 5 million w/o power?  Think I saw that.  I wasn't able to find gas today.  Down to quarter tank.  Hope for tomorrow.

I seriously would go crazy without AC.

Damn, that sucks you're having a hard time finding gas.

I'm not sure how many millions, but definitely millions without power.
The Florida heat and humidity would be a nightmare without ac ... ugh.

Yeah can't imagine.  A friend has 3 cats and no AC and said they are not happy at all.  I would think that would be really bad for animals.

I bet!  Do they know cool water on the bottom of their paws helps cool them?
Some cats won't let you do it, but then just get a damp cloth as cool as possible, and put it where they walk.
I know the days it got up close to 110 here, I did that with Calliope.
I also "pet" her with a cold, damp cloth, and it seemed to relieve her somewhat.
I also made sure the water in her dish was very cool.

Not sure.  I'll have to let him know.

I know him through powerlifting.  Nice to see another guy who's a cat person.

Here's a brief article about how they sweat through the bottom of their paws, which is why you try cool water there, and how they groom themselves a lot when hot because when the saliva evaporates, it helps cool them down, which is why petting them with a cool damp cloth helps.

Just emailed with someone from Naples.  They are struggling to put things back together.  Now that would have been a scary place to be and still is.

That's actually one instance where I'm glad he's full of crap.
I mean, yes, I would have rather he not have gotten into a dick-measuring contest with Un, but since he did ...

btw - One of the tkd kid's dad's, he's a paramedic, went down to help in Florida.
He's the one I wish either had an identical twin brother, or wasn't married.
I have the biggest crush on that guy, and every once-in-a-while I'll realize I'm flirting with him, and then, of course, I feel horrible.

There's only about a month until Big Blue Madness (Sept 13), and there's just under 2 months until the regular season begins for the Cats (November 10)!!!  wiggle

Yep, it's getting there.
Duke will be going from 1 practice a week to practicing back to back days starting next Friday, I believe.
Need some some Hockey and Hoops since my Redskins suck.

BC, WTF is going on with the Bungals?

Zero touchdowns in 2 games? At home?

I thought we were bad.
