First off jrny, congrats to you, UMich, Fire, Dutch, Coach, Cup on Michigans impressive win over a very good Wisconsin team for the B1G Tourney Championship.

I heard Kentucky, Kansas, UCLA won their conferences too. As you know the smaller conferences and the ACC, Big East always have their say as well. Congrats to all.

I think this may be the hardest bracket I can remember

Kansas won the 18 game tourney and lost to TCU for the auto bid. Kentucky swept the SEC for both. UCLA didn't win anything.

Honestly with how top heavy this tourney is, I think it will be easy to pick. the hard part is the sweet sixteen and lower. I got lucky last year with Nova getting a couple of upsets. Probably won't happen for another ten years.
I post for food or money...thank you

I'm not happy because North Carolina probably isn't going to win the thing.

(Ugh!)Hopefully, Duke will.(Barf!)

A note to all guests. Give us or another NGS site a try. Here at the Thread we have posters all over the country and a few provinces in Canada. Yes college football is our passion, but so are pretty much all the other sports. Great peeps here. If you love sports, are a decent human being, if you detest trolls, if grilling or smoking meats doesn't offend you and even music and general life stuff doesn't chap your backside.....give us a chance.

Here Michigan and Ohio Stat folkse get along........might be the only place on the planet ;)  Auburn/ Alabama, Oklahoma/ Texas too, Florida St/ Miami and I would say USC/ UCLA but in 6 years not 1 Bruin has ever posted here.

For the simple rules to be here check the very 1st post. We are an equal opportunity, a-hole free oasis on the web

No surprises in any of my picks either. It was easy to pick Kansas, Nova, and zaga.

My last final four team a sleeper, either vandy, Minnesota or
 NC. (Lol-not NC)
LOUISIANA STATE UNIVERSITY
BCS NCG 2003,07, and 11
NCAA FINAL FOUR 1953,81 86,87,2006
NCAA CWS 1986,87,89,90,91,93,94,96,97,98,2000,03,04,09

Geneh, my record in this tournement is pathetic. I am like 3 - 29.  I guess if I were playing Power Ball that might be good ratio but barely beating 90% wrong is why football is on the name of my Thread  ;)

Good post Andy. The sleepers.... Minnesota plays really great defense, tough to score on. Wisconsin too. Creighton is always here, Wichita St too lately. I think N. Carolina is the fave but I think Kenticky, Kansas, Arizona and maybe even Duke have a say.

Instead of Arizona I almost chose UCLA because they have the best player to ever lace on his shoes.., just ask his dad grin1.... but Bruins ignore me year after year. Go Zona

Watch out for Wisconsin is my advise. Purdue could make a run too. Michigan is peaking at the right time and Michigan State has Izzo.

Did Nebraska make the NIT?    :tiphat:

Yeah, I'm terrible at picking brackets, too. I hate it when an ACC team does not win the tourney, though, obviously, since I love my ACC schools.

GT looking good winning against Indiana in the NIT.

GO ACC!

Handi, I personally have not used the device. When I first saw it used, it was marketed under another name...that was about two years ago.
It definitely worked, unless I just witnessed some oddball coincidence...which I just cannot believe.
I have heard of the great success with bass, but I have heard and witnessed more saltwater species caught than anything else. Particularly, speckled trout and flounder!
On two separate occasions, the device generated no fish...but neither did  anything else used.
I plan to donate some hard earned cash in the next few weeks. I am hoping the price will become more reasonable with time. The price I remember a couple yrs ago was kinda high...just under 500 if memory serves.

Just spoke to my buddy that bought the device Handi was referencing as hydrowave. He paid around $200.00 and that was at the Louisiana Boat show almost 2 yr ago at the Superdome. He said the product had just received its patent pending and was being sold by a video that the inventors (father and son team) were marketing at the show.
He is still happy with his and asked if I wanted to go this weekend...keep you guys posted.

I wish you all good luck fishing, great sport. I have some really great memories fishing and hunting. I am not sure why but when you leave the city or farm and venture into the naturehood a profound peace surrounds you. There may be some peeps that do not understand me........ they have not fished or hunted  :tiphat:

The Upper Peninsula of Michigan is a wonderland for us outdoor types. I actually lived up  there for almost 2 years, wifey was not as thrilled. During the summer the drunken snow mobiling races, the tractor hauling a hay cart to keep drunks off the road and so many fishing options. Lake perch, blue gills  Walleye, Large and small mouth Bass, Pike, and every kind of trout or salmon and my favorite smoked fish whotefish.

Back to topic, like ther is one ber

The NFL draft is still weeks away that certainly be commented on but can wait for a bit

But March madness is upon us and we must do something. How about your final 4 and walk it in from there with a winner and total points as a tie breaker. Saves you from the agonizing  in a way.... but somebody wins bragging rights for a year
