Yeah, not the greatest slate of games this weekend, but I'll be watching. I'll likely check out Iowa/Iowa St. because it's a rivalry game. There are some games that would normally be considered good to great matchups, don't look to be as good. Example, UCLA/Texas would normally be a much anticipated game, but with the curbstomping that BYU put on the Longhorns, it has lost much of it's excitement.

Oh, I'll still be watching.  I'm a total junkie.

Yeah, I saw that. According to a friend that lives there, it seems to happen about once a year or so. They don't get a lot of rain in Vegas, but when they do, they get it all at once.

The rain was nice, not as much as I had hoped, but I'm not gonna complain. I'm hoping that this fall and winter will have lots of rain. Awhile back, I heard there was an El Nino that I think is supposed to hit this fall and/or winter that is supposed bring lots of rain. Could have been next year though.

It wasn't all that long ago that Florida was one of the most hated teams in the country.  Amazing what a chitty season will do.

Stupid phone. Anyways, no it wasn't, but I think it has a lot to do with urban liar leaving. Either way, I'll be cheering for Florida to shut up bama.

UK vs UFLA might be more interesting than you are giving credit, Niner! The know-it-alls like that Magpie looking Finebaum says ky on the rebound...Possible, but still not enough to beat gators.
...and whats the deal with that idiot Finebaum, he acts like Alabama is the only team in the SEC...Oh,wait!  Every blue moon he makes a negitive Auburn comment, lets be fair now!

There are some big name matchups, but one team or the other (or both) are underperforming, so the matchup loses some of its shine.  UCLA - Texas is a good example.  Purdue - Notre Dame is another.
A game that got swept under the rug last wknd was UCLA/Memphis.That game was almost a huge embarassment for the boys from LA.
Hope Mora catching heck out there. Is he Tro? Or is he teflon coated like Dad was?

Given Florida's track record the last couple of years, UK - UF might very well turn into a good game.  It's just not set up to be.

I actually think Fresno State is going to give the Cornhuskers a run for their money.

That's daring niner. Fresno ifs complete trash. However it is the big ten and everyone knows they are complete garbage, so you may be onto something.

I don't have a clue in the world what kind of team Fresno is. The only reason I'm guessing that is kickoff is slated for 9:30 p.m. Cornhusker time.  That means halftime will be approaching midnight.  Strange things can happen.

Ah. Makes sense. Fresno is terrible though. What little defense they had last year is gone and their offense graduated as well. That's why I thought you made a ballsy prediction.

You live in Cincinnati?  I was down there a month ago.  Took in a Reds game.  I also very much enjoyed the Moerlein Lager House.

Technically, I live across the river in KY but it's just easier to say Cincy. I very much enjoy Moerlein... of course, any place that serves a ton of beer will likely have me there ber

Small world. My wife applied for a job there before she moved down from Columbus. She's now an adjuster so it all worked out.

Good for her.  Here in Charlotte they layed off almost everyone...the place is a mess and has a long way to go to compete with B of A and Wells Fargo who dominate the landscape here.
