Does that stop you from fishing?  It's a downer for golfing, that's for sure.

Hello everyone
Hope all are doing well.
I'd like to apologize for my not being around as much as I should have, I never thought the things in my personal life were going to go this bad, for what I thought and still believe is a great move. But I never took into consideration how hard it would be for Shawn. Without going into details, things for him have been extremely tough and I am spending most of my time trying to help him thru this. Thought I had it under control, but alas I was wrong, this last week has been the toughest in my life and while I am trying to keep up with my fantasy comittments, I just don't have the time to keep up with the chatting as much as I'd like to.

More often than not. I hate being wet while fishing. Unless I'm in Alaska or Washington.

Also, no one can convince me that if any other conference, including the Big 10, had started dominating at the same time, we wouldn't have been beaten about the head and shoulders with conference chants like that awful S-E-C one.

Sorry for the the late (had to work Sunday) and probably useless reply.  lol

I understand, though not sure I agree.     As I said in my other comment, it really goes back to the CBS days.   I started over there in 2004 (I believe it was) and Team SEC was in full force.  Prior to the SEC BCS run.

I'm glad the Team SEC schtick doesn't exist on this site.  If you want an example, check out the sportshoopla boards.   I think it's just as bad as CBS was.

And no, didn't think you were picking a fight.

I tried to start a thread on the college boards over on CBS one time.  The intent was actually similar to what we have here, an open discussion about our teams and probably more important the willingness to talk about the best teams in the country, whether they happen to be one of the poster's teams or not.  I got blasted.  I created the thread, made the first post, and then went back to the safe haven of TNM&GB.

It really was surprising how trolls never lasted on TNM&GB.  They would show up occasionally of course, but I guess we kinda had an unwritten rule to completely ignore them and they would just go away.

There will be plenty more football seasons and plenty more opportunities to chat. You're taking care of what's most important. As UMich said, you're in our thoughts and prayers.

We're here if you need to get stuff off your chest or if you just want to get a break for a minute and talk about less important stuff.

I wouldn't bet any money on the Niners right now.  They can't hold 2nd half leads and they are very undisciplined.  Waaaay too many penalties.

It's odd what's happening with the Niners. They have a great coach and it looked like it was going to be a battle between the Seahawks and Niners for the NFC West for the next few years. All of the sudden, it's like they can't get out of their own way.

And now, Anquan Boldin is apparently trying to blame the refs for that loss yesterday. facepalm

Yeah, I was a bit growly this morning.  Excuse making like that doesn't sit well with me.  I don't recall Boldin being like that, so he must really be frustrated.

Hey there, Wmich.  Our Tigers picked up half a game on Cleveland's winning a suspended game with KC and pushing our lead to 2 games.  I'm pulling for both the Tigers and Indians tonight. ber
