I hear you Niner.  End of the quarters are always tough on me.  Kind of sucks that two of them happen during football season.

Wife cooked up some chili, so it will be a late dinner for us.  Good night for it here!!

The end of our year is actually a week from Friday.  We do a lot of government business, so we operate off their fiscal calendar.  Kind of goofy, but I'd rather deal with it now than around Christmas.

Good stuff tro.  Even that rivalry has some humanity to it.

Not so fast Larry,  the Rangers swept the A's in Oakland.  The A's are garbage now.

Tigers win 6-1 this afternoon--magic number is down to 4 (could be 3 if the Indians beat the Royals tonight).

Evening y'all.  More Seattle fall weather cancelled tennis tonight.  Good news is it's great for the new grass seed I planted over the past week.  Bad news is tha I'm not ready for November weather yet.  At least we have left over chile for last night.

Hey, Larry.  Did I tell you that one of my sons lives in Seattle?  Two years ago, we took a road trip from Seattle to Vancouver, enjoyed lunch at a wonderful dim sum restaurant, visited Granville Island and Stanley Park, and in general loved your wonderful city.

only thing I really liked about the Seattle area (was stationed at Ft Lewis 2001-2004) was you could get awesome Teriyaki Chicken on almost every corner.

I've been to Seattle a couple of times and had a blast.  I would love to visit Vancouver.

My brother was stationed there, too.  92 to 96.  That's who I was visiting when I went there.  Both times, the weather was spectacular.  My brother told me not to think it was like that all the time.

The weather in Seattle is spectacular from early June to about October.  It's not really bad the other months of the year if you can put up with a lot of gray, damp days...hardly ever gets real cold there.

That makes sense.  I was there in June both times.  My brother took me down to Mt St Helens, which is something I will never forget.  It was over 10 years since the eruption, and the power unleashed was still very evident.

Morning y'all.  It appears Texas has decided against purchasing an RV for the coaches to travel in because they have...wait for it...no suspension!!
