Can someone explain why the Lions are atop the NFC North when they barely squeaked out a win?

Good work Russ..Steelers and Giants in the Meadowlands.  Should be fantastic!
Don't give up.  Don't ever give up.

If you laugh, you think, and you cry, that's a full day. That's a heck of a day. You do that seven days a week, you're going to have something special.

If I could start my life all over again, I would be a professional football player, and you damn well better believe I would be a Pittsburgh Steeler.

I can just see it now.

Its Sunday night January 5th, 2013.  About 7:30 in the evening.  The playoff spots are being decided in week 17.  In the NFC, the 6th seed is still open......... There is a tie for the final spot, between the Packers and the Seahawks.

The tie breaker................... head to head matchup.

The entire state of Wisconsin forms a line of lit torches walking towards the NFL offices.  haha1
