Sure you do..no need to be modest.

Why don't you recite for me line 13 of Act 2, Scene 2 of A Midsummer Night's Dream.

Then line 20 of Act 3, Scene 7 of Richard III.   :tiphat:

Hahaha...

Actually, I know that scene in Midsummer's quite well...
I've worked on Midsummer's in one capacity, or another, many times.

Richard III is my second favorite history (Henry VI,iii, which takes place right before Richard III, is my favorite),
But that scene, well, I'd be s.o.l. with that one.

I want to hear something inspiring about a senseless death.
What'd I miss?

Most of Shakespeare's words on death are more crushing than inspiring.
He did write a beautiful Funeral Elegy.
In full, it's about 575 lines, so I didn't copy all of it, but these are the last few lines.

But whether doth the stream of my mischance
Drive me beyond myself, fast friend, soon lost,
Long may thy worthiness thy name advance
Amongst the virtuous and deserving most,
Who herein hast forever happy proved:
In life thou lived'st, in death thou died'st beloved.

he will lie, sir, with
such volubility, that you would think truth were a
fool: drunkenness is his best virtue, for he will
be swine-drunk; and in his sleep he does little
harm, save to his bed-clothes about him; but they
know his conditions and lay him in straw. I have but
little more to say, sir, of his honesty: he has
every thing that an honest man should not have; what
an honest man should have, he has nothing.

CALI I know it's not BILLY but I thought I would add something to this. I spun a little poem quickly for ya on death.

If death comes in the night as a friend
extended hands from players will send
thoughts and prayers will be said
all to make pretty of the dead
tears and laughs will come with the beer
praises spoken that you would never hear
relax and sleep in your box of pine
what you sowed will be fine
your name will live in your kin as well
so make the best of heaven or hell
Concrete shoes have no laces

It dost appearist as though Dipshire Fizzle dost not knoweth the proper linguistic posture for thine thread. Musteth he be so aloof in his inabilities to garner such obligatory attentions?

Peter - Thou shouldst recite this snippet of verse to the clotpole.
It fittst him to a tee--eth.

“I would challenge you to a battle of wits, but I see you are unarmed!”
