This years Nebraska alum in Ravens punter Sam Koch.. :)

49ers romp!
Don't give up.  Don't ever give up.

If you laugh, you think, and you cry, that's a full day. That's a heck of a day. You do that seven days a week, you're going to have something special.

Must be a tough game for you Blitz.

Do you root for the dreaded "Rat Birds" or 49ers?

I know you hate the Ravens, but do you really wanna see the 9ers go to 6-0 in Super Bowls,
and knock the Steelers to #2. ;)

That's secondary to crushing Ray Lewis' dreams.

Steelers will be first to 7 anyway.

The Anti-climatic Super Bowl She Is Afoot -- The Harbaugh Bowl

Damn the Patriots for throwing their playoff game with the Ravens.

49ers three and out on their first series of plays. Ravens in the Red Zone on their first series of plays. Flacco to Boldin TD.

49ers 1st and goal. Colin Kaepernick sacked, had to settle for a field goal by Akers as the 9ers held their breath.

Ravens 7-3 ending the 1st quarter.

49ers on the move again but fumble the ball away to the Ravens on the Ravens' 25. First turnover in the game. Ravens romp to the Red Zone, 1st and goal on the 5. Flacco TD pass to Pitta as the Ravens take a 14-3 lead.

Kaepernick picked by Reed, 1st time a SF QB has been intercepted in a Super Bowl -- 49ers 2nd giveaway. Ravens make another visit to the Red Zone. Had to settle for a field goal attempt, fake field goal play failed. 9ers take over on the six. Went nowhere, punt.

Flacco to Jacoby Jones sixty yard TD pass as the Ravens take a 21-3 lead with 1:45 remaining in the half.

But, 49ers on the move again -- Red Zone with 0:57 to go. Had to settle for a FG attempt, Akers two for two.

Beyoncé time with the Ravens leading 21-6.

Ravens receive the ball to start the 2nd half. Jacoby Jones runs the kickoff 109 yards for a TD. Longest kickoff return for a TD in NFL playoff history. Ravens 28-6.

Lighting problem in the Super Dome -- loss of electricity for the Dome and CBS booth. Lights failed on the SF side of the field.

After a 38 minute delay we have game again.

After an 80 yard drive a 38 yard pass from Kaepernick to Crabtree, part of those 80 yards,  results in a TD. Ravens 28-13.

The worm is turning, Flacco sacked. 49ers rolling again. First and goal. Gore rushes for a TD narrowing the score to 28-20. 49ers score two TDs in two minutes and 21 seconds.

Oh oh, Ray Rice fumbles the ball away for the Ravens. 9ers approaching the Red Zone. Akers back to his old tricks, missed a FG. But Ravens charged with running into the kicker and Akers nails the FG on his 2nd attempt. 28-23.
.
Ravens make another trip to the Red Zone to end the 3rd quarter. 3rd and goal from the one, nada, settled for a FG, 31-23.

And now the 9ers are again visiting the Red Zone. Kaepernick scores a rushing TD. Two-point conversion attempt failed -- 31-29

Ravens approaching the Red Zone but had to settle for a field goal, 34-29. 4:19 remaining, game still up for grabs.

And here come the 9ers, first and goal on the seven. Two minute warning. 2nd and goal. 3rd and goal. 4th and goal. Ravens hold, 1:46, 49ers can only stop the clock once. 4th down, eleven seconds remaining, allow a safety? Yep, 34-31, four seconds remain -- free kick from the 20.

Ravens win 34-31. Guess it was a pretty good game. Ray Lewis can now retire in peace -- maybe?

49ers romp!

Looks like I was slightly wrong.

Thank God for the outage, or it'd have been profoundly wrong.
