No, but He got caught and fried!

Hamilton Howard "Albert" Fish[1] (May 19, 1870 – January 16, 1936) was an American serial killer. He was also known as the Gray Man, the Werewolf of Wysteria, the Brooklyn Vampire, the Moon Maniac and The Boogey Man.[4] A child rapist and cannibal, he boasted that he "had children in every state,"[4] and at one time stated the number was about 100. However, it is not known whether he was talking about rapes or cannibalization, less still whether he was telling the truth. He was a suspect in at least five murders during his lifetime. Fish confessed to three murders that police were able to trace to a known homicide, and he confessed to stabbing at least two other people. He was tried for the kidnapping and murder of Grace Budd, and was convicted and executed by electric chair.[5][

The headline on the day he was executed would have been that...

It seems like California is a breeding ground for serial killers...wonder why that is?

Washington state has the highest per capita serial killers at 1.61 per 100,000 people...also Washington state is home to the most prolific sk in US history..Gary Ridgeway"the Green River Killer"  In contrast the great state of Iowa has only had 1 person who could be considered a "serial killer"...ever!

I thought so too.  I just googled it and that was the top link.  I think they meant historically, but looking at the list...there have been an awful lot in Washington state...also Washington state leads in highest per capita suicides...I've always thought the Pacific Northwest was pretty awesome...legal weed..great bands..

Maybe that's why the legalized it? To settle down the psyco fu&@s up there in the rain...Chances are good you were next to a serial killer at the grocery store sometime last week...My dad claimed he had that woman in Florida in his car while in daytona for bike week years ago...The one that Charlize Theron play in "Monster" Dad drank and did drugs so he could have been mistaken?

I wonder why that Navy Seal wasn't considered a serial killer? He had a bunch of confirmed kills...Does it matter if it's your job or if it's merely a hobby?

I've asked this before and got no reply. What is the answer?

I think her name was Eileen Wournos...something like that.  She was fugly...can't believe they turned the smokeshow Charlize Theron into her...that's some good makeup effects?

One that intrigues me is this Smiley Face killer theory...only because there have been 3 cases that fit the MO in the Dubuque area..which is right on the Wisconsin border...

This is a bit off topic, but suicide was mentioned with Washington and here was another quality Kurt Cobain song?

If you are getting paid for it...legally..then it's a job.  They consider Tim McVeigh to be a serial killer...IMO he's a mass murderer...serial killers usually have a devious/sadistic side..McVeigh was just an asshole.

Ok, so a hired killer like a hitman isn't a serial killer then. Both would be considered mass murderers then? Criteria being just get paid...

There are many who believe he was murdered....some forensics support the claim...he supposedly used his toe to pull the trigger....how does one do that with shoes on?  I am a little biased, though.  Big Nirvana fan.

In the technical sense yes...but IMO no.  A Mafia hitman would be a mass murderer...to me a serial killer is someone that does it for personal gratification of some sort...like a John Wayne Gacy or a Jeffery Dahmer.

Just on the Washington State numbers...

Is it possible they meant 2/100k deaths are by serial killer? A number that is inflated by Gary Ridgeway...

Very possible.  The way it is worded"  The state of Washington is by far the highest with 1.67 per 100,000 people."  I just googled "serial killers by state"  That does make a lot more sense though.
